Healthy Beginnings – Metro Public Health Department of Nashville and Davidson County

The Healthy Beginnings Program serves first time parents as well as parents or caregivers of a child 2 weeks old or younger. The program is free, voluntary and open to families who live in Davidson County. Home visitors meet with parents in the comfort of their home and provide support to parents to help their child be healthy. Home visitors monitor the child's growth and development and conduct screenings to ensure milestones are met within appropriate time frames. Home visitors also help connect families to community resources and events.
