The Coffee County Recovery Academy was created in 2014 in partnership with the Department of Children's Services as an intervention program to prevent juveniles from entering state custody by providing education and therapeutic day treatment services to children.
Recovery Academy is designed for youth, ages 16-18, who are "at risk" of entering custody of the Department of Children's Services.
All students are referred through the Coffee County Juvenile Court.
