Violence and Bullying PreventionThe Violence and Bullying Prevention program helps children with skill enhancement in:
- Empathy building
- Resilience training
- Impulse control
- Decision making
- Anger management
The program is for children, ages 4-14, in grades 4-8, provided that the school they attend has the Violence and Bullying Prevention program.
How the program works:
Prevention Specialists are trained to reduce impulsive and aggressive behavior in children while increasing their level of social competence.
Specialists accomplish this through the use of
Violence and Bullying Prevention is available at select schools in Bedford, Bradley, Coffee, Dickson,
Hamilton, Marion, Montgomery, Rutherford, and Stewart counties.
