Nurturing Parenting Program

 
 
 

The Nurturing Parent program includes 2-hour sessions where family support workers/staff meet with the family weekly for 8 weeks. These classes are effective for families facing a variety of parenting challenges, and focuses on positive changes in parenting and child rearing attitudes. The curriculum places greater emphasis on helping parents develop concrete parenting skills, as well as think about the importance of parent and child relationships.

Families with children of 0-12 years of age are eligible Classes are effective for families facing a variety of parenting challenges. To participate, families cannot have an open DCS investigation.
