Nashville Children’s Alliance (NCA) is known for its partnership with the Department of Children’s Services, Metro Police Department and the DA’s office working collaboratively toward the detection, investigation, prosecution and treatment of severe child abuse. NCA provides forensic Interviews in collaboration with DCS and police department when there are reported allegations of severe child abuse, trauma-informed therapy for children of abuse and support/education groups for their parents.

Eligibility Requirements

NCA serves children ages 2 - 17 when there are reported abuse allegations. DCS and police department make referrals to the NCA for forensic interviews. Children and families may access therapy sessions for children and support groups for parents/caregivers if the suspected abuse has been reported to the authorities. Parents/caregivers may access therapy services for children by contacting Lori Myers at lori.myers@nashvillechildrensalliance.org. Spanish-speaking families, please contact Yadira Gonzalez at yadira.gonzalez@nashvillechildrensalliance.org (Spanish-speaking therapist). All services are provided at no cost to families.
