Child Health and Development

CHAD is a voluntary support program for parents expecting a child or who have a young child. A trained professional will help you by coming to your home to answer questions about your child's health and development. They also can help connect you to resources in your community to help you be the best parent you can be. You will benefit by having support for you, your child, and your family. You will better understand your baby, and learn new ways to support your child's development.

Eligibility Requirements

Families receiving CHAD services must either meet a financial requirement or have had involvement with the Child Protective Services system. Prenatal services are provided only for pregnant girls who are younger than 18 years of age.
