We offer free, voluntary, and confidential home visiting services to families across our 23‑county service area through two evidence‑based models: Healthy Families Tennessee (HFT) and Parents as Teachers (PAT).
Parents as Teachers (PAT)
PAT is an in‑home parenting support program designed to help families build strong foundations for their children’s learning, development, and school readiness through regular visits with a certified Parent Educator. Families receive personalized guidance on child development, positive parenting strategies, and family‑identified goals, along with developmental screenings, connections to community resources, and ongoing support.
Healthy Families Tennessee (HFT)
HFT provides intensive, strengths‑based home visiting support for families during pregnancy and early childhood. Family Support Specialists partner with families to promote healthy child development, strengthen the parent‑child relationship, and support family well‑being through education, referrals, and goal‑focused services tailored to each family’s needs.
