Nurses for Newborns of Tennessee

 
 
 

Nurses for Newborns of Tennessee is a prevention agency for at-risk families. Our mission is to prevent child abuse/neglect and infant mortality through in-home nurse visits. We provide health assessments of newborns/mothers, education, positive parenting and referral resources. Our nurses provide 24/7 phone support. We serve both prenatal and postpartum clients and will remain with a family for up to two years if there is a need and they wish to remain with our services.

Eligibility Requirements

Eligibility requirements include: Lives in Cheatham, Davidson, Maury, Montgomery, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, or Williamson County and at least one of the following: medically fragile baby (infants born premature, spent any time in the NICU, or have any medical concern); mother with medical, mental health, or substance abuse concerns; or teen parent ages 19 or younger.
