Montgomery County Child and Family Intervention Services

The Montgomery County Child and Family Intervention program provides case management services to juveniles referred to the court system. Three classes are offered which are Prime for Life, First Offenders, and Teens in Action. Classes are on a rotation schedule. Juveniles are drug screened as needed and referred to community agencies for counseling if necessary. CANS assessments are used to determine the kind of intervention needed for an individual juvenile.

Any juvenile who is referred to the juvenile court on a petition, warning citation or as the result of a court action are eligible for services.
